Nanospectroscopy Group

 group picture June 2022

Our research group is interested in the optical and electronic properties of novel semiconductor materials. We want to investigate the fundamental properties of these materials to understand how they arise and how they can be controlled. This knowledge is then used to optimize these materials for specific optoelectronic applications, such as for light-emitting diodes, lasers or solar cells. Ideally, there is a feedback loop between synthesis, optical spectroscopy, and device fabrication and characterization.
